After kindly being gifted my first set of oil paints in January, I’ve unlocked a whole new medium to explore. This is my first and only ‘successful’ piece so far – still much to learn but I’m enjoying the process.

I’ve had an interest in art for as long as I can remember. When I was younger, long before medicine crossed my mind, I wanted to become a children’s book illustrator. I think this is reflected across my work; I love creating pieces that are pleasant, cheerful and have a sense of character.
